Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she took flute lessons and harpsichord for three years. She survived on a student allowance and worked part-time to supplement her budget. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance when compared with her peers and was contemplating a different route she could take. Lennox was a flute player in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. But she quit prior to her group being asked to participate in I.T.V.'s talent competition New Faces. She was the singer in The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and the year 1980. The band she was in, was first introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they will create The Eurythmics Pop duo. Lennox then went on to release her first solo album Diva. The album was released in 1992. The album was an enormous success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs Six solo album, released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's most loved blues, jazz and soul songs from her youth. In addition in May 2019 Lennox published Lepidoptera a collection of four piano pieces that she improvised. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album along with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is a Scottish politician, philanthropist and singer-songwriter. The Tourists had a minor popularity in the latter part of the 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, proceeded to achieve international fame in 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics. In 1992 Lennox launched a solo career with the release of her first album Diva that produced a number of hit songs includingWhy andWalking through Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album released in 1995 contains cover versions of songs such asNo MoreI I Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. Six solo studio albums as well as a compilation album, are the result of her efforts.
